My Favorite Bonsai

Rug juniper, kingsville boxwoods, juniper, and yes, a preserved juniper on grapewood.

After buying the faux bonsai, I tried my hand at preserving boxwood leaves and combining them with jasmine and azalea trees.

My latest auction purchases from a student of Yugi Y., the Bonsai master who started the Yama Ki club.
I hope the azalea blooms next spring! The roots for this plant cannot dry out - ever. The marble dish and limestone rocks were my other favorite winnings.
