A Parent's Guide to Scoliosis Surgery

This booklet is written by a parent for parents. You'll see many bulleted lists for quick reading and reference, because, like most parents these days...we are too busy to read a novel. IMPORTANT This guide has been created for those parents of children with scoliosis who have already made the decision with their children (and based upon your physician's guidance) to proceed with the surgery. The purpose of this guide is not to advocate the surgery nor discuss alternatives, but to simply provide parents with an account of our experience and tips that might help make the hospital experience a little less traumatic.
