It's more than words...
A Parent's Guide to Scoliosis Surgery
|
This booklet is written by a parent for parents. You'll see many bulleted lists for quick reading and reference, because, like most parents these days...we are too busy to read a novel. IMPORTANT
My thanks go Michelle Spray (www.bookshelf123.com) and members of the new CT Teen Chapter of the Scoliosis Association for the inspiration and help they provided in making this publication a reality! |
Parent Reviews
"Thanks so much for your very informative and re-assuring booklet; you had some great advice which we will put to good use! It was great also to have some of my fears addressed, to know that in spite of the struggle, the surgery is worth it. You must be a very special person to be so willing to share your story to help others (you and your delightful daughters!)."

"Wow, that's some story. Thank you so much for sharing it. It definitely puts things in perspective. At the meeting in Wilton, Jessica appeared so confident and happy. She's a beautiful girl. If I didn't know the truth I would never believe that she'd had back surgery! The comment in your booklet about how Jessica came across as an adult except when pain was involved really hit home. I need to remember that my daughter, Ellen, is still only a child at 11.5!"
